Debbie Hay
Professor - Pharmacology Otago University
Debbie Hay is Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Otago, where her research focuses on G protein-coupled receptors, particularly class B GPCRs and receptor activity-modifying proteins. Her work spans pharmacology, structural biology, peptide chemistry and molecular biology, with a strong focus on migraine therapeutics. A highly cited researcher and Fellow of the British Pharmacological Society, Debbie also chairs the NC-IUPHAR subcommittee on CGRP peptide family receptor nomenclature and is an active mentor of early-career researchers.
