Gabriel Smolarz

Gabriel Smolarz is Vice President, US Medical Affairs & Medical Advisor at Zealand Pharma, bringing extensive experience across obesity, diabetes and metabolic medicine. Previously, he spent nearly 11 years at Novo Nordisk, including as Senior Medical Director for Obesity, where he led US medical activities for Wegovy, lifecycle strategy and pipeline planning. Earlier roles span AstraZeneca, Bristol Myers Squibb and clinical endocrinology. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
